“I came to Dr. Pelechaty with a severe skin rash all over my body. I was in horrible pain & had constant itching. I could not sleep or shower or dress without being in terrible pain. I also had a bacterial infection in both my legs. My legs were extremely painful, swollen, and itchy. “I feel compelled to write to you about my experience this week with my acupuncturist, Dr. Orest Pelechaty.

Let me give you a little background: Ten days before this week’s visit I had a very bad and unusual asthma attack after which painful bone spurs came up under my right knee and on the back of my right ankle. I went to my Orthopaedic doctor who gave me Naprosyn and Oxycontin. I took the Naprosyn but refused to take the heavy pain killer. The pain intensified to such a degree that I broke down and took the pain killers which did nothing to stop the pain. They just put me to sleep. I called my Orthopedist back as the pain was growing with each hour and he set me up for an MRI of the ankle prior to doing anything else. The MRI could not be done until later that next week because of insurance company pre-certification. By Saturday (four days later) I was ingesting double the pain pills and getting progressively worse. My husband spoke to Dr. Pelechaty about my condition during his visit on Saturday and on Sunday (the next day) he was at my bedside doing a house visit. He treated me with the needles, a laser and essential oils. My road to recovery started that night.

I was still on crutches but with less pain and not getting around very well, but on the following Wednesday I got myself to Dr. Pelechaty’s office for a second treatment. I went in on crutches. After the treatment of needles, laser and oils I got up and very gingerly tested my foot on the floor. I felt a little discomfort but MUCH less than when I entered his offices that day. The miracle that occurred was when I left I was under my own power with the crutches lifted above my head as I walked away with very little discomfort.
